These majestic monuments built inside the salt mines of Zipaquirá have become one of Colombia’s greatest wonders, not only for its architectural and artistic designs but also by the different attractions that you will see and make your visit unforgettable.
Visit the first marvel of Colombia. Located 2 hours from Bogotá, you will find the Zipaquirá population known for being the place of residence of the Zipa chief who ruled the Cundi-Boyaca highlands.
The cathedral is built in a salt mine, 180 meters underground, next to the salt that is still used for human consumption.
While your visit to Zipaquira with your Bogotá Pass is done on your own, Bogotá Pass is able to provide any advice and recommendations to make your trek to the majestic Salt Mine comfortable and simple.
Your pass includes entrance into the Salt Mine Cathedral, but with a few extra dollars, you can visit an on-site museum, climb a rock wall, see the mining route, watch a 3D movie, and more.
